Your child will be responsible for reading for a minimum of 10 minutes each night at home. Remember that books that are coming home are at your child's independent reading level. This means, these books should not be challenging for your child. If you ever have questions or concerns about the books coming home, please contact me.
Your child will also be bringing home a math packet each Monday (full weeks only). The math packets will reinforce the skills we worked on the previous week, so the children will be familiar with the concepts. Some of it may be "new" to you, please listen to your child as to how to complete the tasks. They will be the experts here. Packets should be returned the following Monday. Please do not return earlier in the week, I will not be collecting them until Mondays. Thank you in advance for assisting your child with their math experiences.
